Manpuku was just so darn good the first time that we had to go again. This time Queese-Ling-San ordered the shiguredon and I, Derinkun, ordered the negitama gyudon. Both of our rice bowls were divine. Definitely up there among the best donburi I’ve had. I also ordered a takosen, which was basically a mini takoyaki sandwich, i.e. sex in my mouth. Queese and I washed down our delooocious meals with some green tea and some corn syrup-filled mango aziani soda. Our meal—consisting of two donburi, two side salads, a miso soup, takosen, a soda, and an endless supply of green tea—came out to just $25. A night to remember.
